NMC Health Network: Hurricane Laura Update

Nacogdoches, August 26, 2020 Nacogdoches Medical Center is closely monitoring Hurricane Laura and is working with the Nacogdoches County Emergency Management and City officials to determine the necessary steps to prepare for the storm. Providing safe, high-quality care is our top priority. We currently remain open to care for patients with medical and emergency needs however, there are a few services that will close or operate on a delayed schedule temporarily:

-           The Diagnostic Imaging Center- closed

-           Outpatient Physical Therapy - closed

-           The Wound Care Center -closed

-           The Sleep Lab -closed

-           The Infusion Therapy Center is operating on a delayed schedule

-           The Cancer Treatment Center is operating on a delayed schedule

Patients with appointments at these centers have been notified. It is important to note that the hospital is not a designated shelter. We encourage everyone to monitor local news stations for updates on the storm and visit our Facebook page for updates on our operations. If patients have questions, they should call 936-569-9481.
