When your care can’t wait, NMC’s Emergency Centers in Nacogdoches and Shelby County are here to help, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We treat a full range of medical emergencies and both of our Emergency Centers are specially furnished and designated for major trauma or accident-related injuries, obstetrics or gynecology, pediatrics and orthopedics. The Emergency Center in Nacogdoches has also recently been expanded to include 10 rooms, meaning less wait for you and your family when you need this emergency care.

At both locations, our Emergency Center is staffed with specially trained physicians who have many years of experience in emergency medicine, and who are permanent physicians at Nacogdoches Medical Center. Registered Nurses and other professional personnel in this unit are highly qualified and certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support to provide the kind of medical responses needed for any emergency. When you require services at The Emergency Center, you’ll receive a thorough evaluation, diagnosis and treatment, supported day and night by the caring and skilled hospital facility and staff, with specialists available at a moment’s notice.
